Our 10-15-minute "Dancing with the stars" 1-couple dance show is the most sought-after for weddings, private functions and dance festivals. Our colorful choreography fuses Latin Jazz, Bolero, Mambo, Cha Cha, Milonga, Bachata, Tango and Salsa into one mesmerizing showcase that is captivating and spellbinding. For cultural celebrations, we provide multiple couples for group dance showcase that is explosive and exhilarating - our corporate, education & cultural clients' favorites!

We also offer 1-hour dance package that includes 2 latin dance performance + group dance lesson(s) + dancing with guests. This package is most popular for birthdays and private parties, where everybody is encouraged to participate and simply have fun. We guaranteed you'll have a good time!

Hector & Cynthia - Latin Soul Dance Entertainment

Cynthia La China is a passionate dance teacher and performer specializing in NYon2 Mambo and other Latin dances. Her enthusiasm of sharing latin music and salsa dance was infectious. In 2004, she volunteered to teach salsa dance to youths of Brooklyn community; after showcasing her talented young students in local community, she was invited to teach Latin Dance Movements for after-school enrichment programs at public schools. Since then she has expanded her dance classes to adults and seniors at recreational and community centers in 5 boroughs of NYC. 

Hector el Guajiro came to NY from Texas in 2000, and began his Salsa/Mambo on2 journey with "The Mambo King" Eddie Torres and furthered his dance training in Afro-Cuban movement, cha cha, styling, latin jazz, modern dance, Limon technique with Carlos Orta, Frankie Martinez, Michael Fielder and Maykel Fonts. Fast forward 4 years, Hector joined The Revelation Dance Company as a performer and co-choreographer, and had a taste of spotlight in numerous Salsa congresses and dance festivals.

Hector and Cynthia met as dance partners in 2007 and found common goals as dancers & instructors, and shared creative ideas as performers & choreographers. In 2009 they had an opportunity to teach and perform at The 1st Hawaii Salsa Festival, and Latin Soul Dance Entertainment was co-founded. Since then, they travel extensively for gigs locally and abroad. Taught thousands and performed on numerous stages at multi-cultural dance festivals, salsa congresses, artistic institutions, entertainment venue, corporate functions and private events for up close and personal entertainment.

Founder of NYSalsababy Dance, Artistic Choreographer, Co-director of Latin Soul Dance Entertainment, Cynthia has been working with local communities, corporate and private sectors offering dance, music, cultural, fitness, social, performances and entertainment for corporate events, private parties, parks, public places in tri-state area since 2004. The goal is to introduce the enjoyment of social dance and benefits of dance fitness through movement exploration, music education, cultural awareness, partnering connection, progressive learning through solo and partner dancing.
