Latimore Sky has an extensive light show to help fill the room with visual artistry. Our light show is good for any indoor venue, capable of capturing the audiences attention.

Our thoughts on sound is control and clarity. We believe music should be heard and felt, but we also believe that someone should be able to have a conversation in the back of the room if they want too. That comes from control and clarity. Control your volume, louder does not mean better. Clarity, control noise, clear vocals, and controlled drum volume (for smaller venues we offer an electric drums set to control the sound even better) allows for better sound and entertainment for you patrons.

Latimore Sky is a rock and roll/outlaw country band from the York, PA area. We are driven musicians. This can be easily seen during our shows by the passion and emotion we exude on stage. We love music, it's in us, it's who we are.

We all come from different musical backgrounds, but some of our common influences are bands like The Who, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, SRV, Cash, Haggered, Jennings, Hank and many many more. With our diverse taste of music and styles, Latimore Sky has a sound all of it's own, yet familiar enough make you feel right at home.

Latimore Sky is led by front man, PJ Groft.

PJ has been preforming since '98. He is a singer/song writer/guitarist/entertainer. PJ has amazing vocals, powerful and well controlled. He is unbelievable presence and is always able to get the crowd engaged. With a great sense of humor and very good wits, PJ is able to keep the crowed entertained, be it battering back and forth, crowd sing-alongs or with his incredible vocals.

Rhyan Hoover is the heart beat of Latimore Sky. Playing the drums since the 7th grade, Rhyan has developed a style all of his own. Rhyan will mix his playing with the bassist, lead guitar or vocal rhythms depending on what he feels accents the song at that moment.

Mike Stem- Bass Guitar

Mike Stem, from York Springs, PA started playing bass just out of high school and wasted no time joining his first band Brandenburg, where he learned the writing and recording thing and also the love of it.

This was a 10 year journey writing and producing the album 'Keeper of Time' before moving on to a solo/partner project creating the band Vertical Descent where he had the opportunity to write a more personal album 'Brilliant Ignorance'.

He has also played in various cover bands; Ramped, One Foot In, and Blind Fate.

Mike's love of music expands to just about every type there is. His playing style always seems to pull him to progressive funk and applies a emotional soul stealing drive behind the cool guys with the guitars but also stays lock step with that little bass drum beater to create a driven collaborative wonder.

Sid Snyder is one of the greatest guitar players in the area. Sid knows his way around the fret board forwards and backwards, blindfolded. With his ability to mix his knowledge of rock, blues, country and jazz in to a song where and when it fits, Sid makes every song his own (even when playing it exactly like the original).

Power is all we need, we can figure out the rest!

For smaller venues, we do offer and "Electric Set Up". The electric set utilizes electronic drums and there are know guitar amps. The guitar signals are placed directly in to the main mix, allowing for greater volume control and saving space.
