Overview
Book Laska for birthday parties, holiday parties, weddings, showers, graduations, festivals, corporate events, university events, fundraisers, restaurants, and celebrations of any kind (except all-male events). Laska will add excitement, smiles, and fun to your special event with her energetic performance! A performance may include veil, zils (finger cymbals), Isis wings, LED Isis wings, shamadan, sword and/or cane. Laska also has a battery-operated Bluetooth indoor/outdoor water resistant speaker and microphone if the venue does not have a means for playing music. Please note that social distancing must be maintained at the venue.

Laska was so nice, friendly and easy to work with from the beginning. Her customer service is amazing and you won't regret hiring her for your event. She was very understanding when we were running a little behind schedule and prepared when she couldn't hook up to the dj station. Everyone at the party was entertained by her performance. A week later and we are still talking about it. It was really a pleasure having Laska at my 40th birthday party. Thank you so much Laska. You were amazing.

First off, Laska is very professional; being timely and punctual at the event, extremely prompt in setting up all the logistics and paper work, down to earth & humble and very honest! Her dancing was fantastic as she incorporated music for the holiday season into her dance program. She had several costumes which made her dance program extremely colorful and really unique. My family and friends loved her performance! Hands down! I can't wait to host another party where I can have Laska dance again! Thank you! Bob

What to Expect

Let Laska add excitement, smiles, and positive energy to your event! Laska is as friendly and fun as she is talented. Adults and children alike enjoy her performances! Venues have included private parties, festivals, restaurants, universities, world dance events, and professional shows.
Laska also has a battery-operated bluetooth indoor/outdoor water resistant speaker and microphone if the venue does not have a means for playing music. The music is on a Smartphone.
About
Laska has been dancing professionally for over eight years at events in Connecticut, New York, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina. She trained as a cabaret dancer in New York and in Boston. She also spent three years studying Afro-Caribbean dance, and tried her hands (and feet!) at Jazz, Modern, Flamenco, Salsa, and Isadora Duncan dance. She danced with Lynchburg Tribal for five years (American Tribal Style Belly Dance), but now dances solo.
Additional Booking Notes
A sound system that connects to a Smartphone should be provided, preferably in the same room in which the performance is to take place. The sound system is an important part of the show and should be tested prior to Laska's arrival. Louder is usually better. Laska has a speaker that can be used as the main speaker if you don't have one or as a backup.
Please provide a safe place to change, as many costumes can be damaged if worn while driving.
