September 27, 2024Lanny has a cool calm demeanor when delivering a joke, his wit , personal stories mixed in with sharp humor made an entertaining night. He slogged through an initial tough crowd who wanted to socialize , rather than be entertained, but got their attention when he started down his litany of jokes and humor. We had a wonderful event, very successful fundraiser. Thanks to Lanny, Recommend him for your GIG.

November 13, 2022I rated this comedian as a five because he was dependable. Mr Farmer had something to come up at the last minute, but before he called me to inform me he had already gotten me a replacement. He was very apologetic and made sure his replacement knew what was to be expected. This says a lot about Mr Farmers overall character.

June 7, 2022We had about 30 minutes session with Lenny to celebrate one of our friend' 60th surprise Bday party. Lanny was hilarious in a sophisticated way! Due to matured audience, I had asked him to keep it clean which he absolutely did and made the crowd laugh! We had a great time with Lanny!

Lanny Farmer is an Athens comedian who started his comedy journey in the summer of 2013. After months of writing jokes and attending open mics, he finally got the courage to go on stage. After his first show at Laughing Skull in Atlanta, in front of family and friends (that didn't disown him afterwards), he decided this was a dream he wanted to pursue. Now, after years of performing at clubs, bars, frat houses and the occasional house party, Lanny is one of the best known Athens comedians and a staple in the scene. He performs regularly in the city and at Atlanta comedy venues including Laughing Skull Lounge and The Punchline. He has featured for Dom Irrera, Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live) and Caleb Synan. He has also produced and hosted shows in Bethlehem, Athens, Braselton and Duluth. Come to a show and see his deadpan style of comedy that most describe as "not bad."
