Thank you Kim. It is aleays a pleasure to be on your show. You are an awesome host. Namiste'
Hiring Mr. Abrims for our military event was one of the best decisions and experiences of last year. He helped make our veterans' event a total success. And the breakout sessions we just as good as the keynote address. We are still getting comments about that event and his moving presentation. It's not always easy to entertain a group of military veterans, but Lance did an awesome job. We will have him back at our future events for sure.
Response from Lance Abrims: Discover Your Power & Supercharge Your Life:
Michael, Working with absolute pros like yourself who care deeply about veterans is great. You honor me by having me back each year and I look forward to many years ahead serving not just the association, but my fellow veterans. It's not about you, not about me, but about our Heroes. Let's keep it going and believe me, the respect and admiration is mutual. And thank you for your service to our country and your association.
What to Expect
Lance brings energy to the room. From the moment his walks on stage until the graciously steps away, his focus in on the audience. Lance has a very practiced and polished way of receiving the thoughts and feelings of the room and returning that energy to them in a way that makes it personal for each attendee. Regardless of the topic he is asked to speak on, Lance can bring the experience full circle - a clean beginning, middle, and end, where the conclusion has brought everyone on a journey with him. And at the end of that journey, they have at least one life-tool to take with them and immediately practice and apply.
Lance can adapt his delivery to any group from 16 to 99. Whether a group of all men or all women, singles or couples, he can bring the sense of community and belonging so that the subject of the talk is a message that binds together the audience in a common cause, feeling, desire, or life lesson.
He is a one-man-show that commands the stage from start to finish. In 15 minutes or 60 minutes, he is fresh and compelling, challenging the audience to think outside the box and leaving them wanting more.
Here is how some people describe Lance:
Paul and I want to thank you for the wonderful wedding ceremony that you conducted on Saturday for us. We felt very much at ease with you despite having never met in person, and your style made the ceremony feel significant yet comfortable. Many of our friends commented on how much they enjoyed it too and I would say the majority that I spoke to felt that your moving to one side really made them feel that they were there for us. I had one person ask how long the three of us had been friends .
Thank you again, and all the best.

I want to thank you so much for your officiating services at our May 19 2007 wedding at Belmont. You were exactly what we wanted – professional and personable. We’ve gotten several compliments about the ceremony, both for you and the wording (courtesy of your website!). Drew and I appreciate your ability to put us at ease. I was particularly nervous, but you helped alleviate that. Thanks again for everything )including taking care of the license!)
You will be highly recommended!
Kati & Drew
Chris and I wanted to thank you for helping us to create a beautiful and memorable wedding ceremony! I received so many compliments on choosing such a charismatic and personable officiant so I wanted to pass the compliments along to you! Thank you, again, for everything!
Ellen & Chris K.
The service was absolutely beautiful and it was all because of you. You really made it easier up there for us to get through the vows when we were both in tears. You made us laugh and spoke to us to help us along. That was probably the scariest part because I thought I would mess up or start crying.
I would definitely recommend your services to other couples.
Thank you very much for a beautiful wedding!
Kerri & Greg M.
We strongly recommend Fr. Lance. He was very helpful in designing our ceremony, and performed the casual and friendly ceremony that we wanted. The day of the event he helped keep things moving smoothly and provided a valuable channel of communication and calm that went above and beyond his duties as the officiant. Kelley really appreciated his ability to calm her nerves as the weather interfered with our outdoor wedding and we scrambled to get things moved indoors.
Your friendly and personable attitude is what made us choose you. When we met, you provided a lot of great suggestions that we would not have thought about, for both the ceremony and the marriage licensing process. We don’t have any suggestions for improvement, we saw nothing but excellence during our interactions.

…you did a wonderful job, were very easy to work with and you really went the extra mile. I didn’t have the ceremony music in line and there was miscommunication with the DJ, and you handled that for us–thanks so much! I will definitely recommend you to all of my unmarried friends when their time comes. All of my guests made comments on the ceremony, saying that it was wonderful and it was too bad I didn’t have a videographer. They said they really thought you did a great job and your words were beautiful.
You were great in all aspects as far as my new husband and I are concerned and I don’t know what you could do to improve. I am very happy and couldn’t have asked for anything more on your part. Thank you so much!
Ivy & Mark F.
Just wanted to say thank you sooo much for the beautiful ceremony! We had so much fun and all of our friends and family complimented on how great of a job you did! And I want to thank you for working with the petty officer at the base chapel for us with such ease….it took a lot of stress off of myself and my mom! My mother told me you took the time to light the candles and the votive candle for our wedding and I really appreciate that! It was so great to have help when you need it the most!
If any of my friends get married in the area I will definitely tell them to go to your website! I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Well, Stephan and I are off to Tahiti for a couple of weeks!

He was not only nice and easy to work with… but affordable too. Plus, he helped guide us through the vows. We are not traditional and he was able to walk us through everything easily!
To top it off… he was soooo funny and nice! The ceremony was amazing thanks to him. He’s so sweet and I have been recommending him to everyone I know :) I even ended up finding out a friend of mine used him for their wedding! Thank you Lance for a WONDERFUL wedding ceremony :)
I cannot say enough good things about Lance. He was absolutely beyond perfect. Every single person at our wedding commented how wonderful he was. I’m not exaggerating. People came up to us like, “Where did you find that guy? He is AWESOME!” They couldn’t believe that we didn’t have a long, intimate relationship with him. He’s just that kind of guy.
He’s genuine and friendly and had the innate ability to make you feel like you’ve know him your whole life. Our ceremony was laid-back and goofy and had us all smiling and crying at the same time. If I had it to do over, I would ALWAYS pick Lance. I can totally understand why he has so many glowing reviews, and they barely hold a candle to how great he truly is.
I only wish I had more time to speak to him after the ceremony, but we were rushed off to take photos, battling the sunset the whole way. Thank you again, Lance. You were an absolute joy to work with and I couldn’t imagine the most important day of my life any other way.
I cannot praise this man enough. Lance was amazing. We had a few hiccups in the ceremony (brought on by a beautiful two year old flower girl) and he breezed right through them, and even used Bible verses to link her actions back to the ceremony. Everyone in the wedding and numerous guests expressed how impressed they were by Lance.
To sum up Lance’s service in one word, I would have to say “magnanimous” because he exceeded our expectations in every way. We had a short time to choose a officiant as many of the previous officiants we talked to we ended up deciding to go another direction. We have no regrets at all.
My wife is from Brazil so she had some family in attendance that did not speak any English. I had the idea to say a few words in Portuguese but he took it a step further and got one of her cousins to translate. This made the ceremony go a little longer and follow a different path but it was all so much more worth it. He played off the crowd perfectly and added some special touches.
He even assisted us in choosing a location to place a lap top with Skype so the rest of her family back in Brazil could witness the ceremony.
I would recommend Lance for anyone.
Lance, Thank you so much for the wonderful wedding ceremony Saturday at River Farm. Everything was perfect. You have a way about you that made both Jim and me feel at ease. And thank you for using your own words for the ceremony. Our script was rather long and I’m glad we said you didn’t need to follow it. You spoke to us from the heart and it touched our hearts, bringing us even closer.
And, Wow! The pictures are great! So many! They are all terrific! I’ll print them and put in an album soon. Quite a few ‘favorites’ have already gone out to family and friends — which was so important to us, since the ceremony was only for Jim and me. But with the pictures, we are still able to share our day with them.
Anyway, thank you again for making our wedding day truly special. We’ll never forget it – or you!
Kathy and Jim Cumbo
Lance was so incredible! Our guests are STILL raving about his kind words, his mannerisms, etc. Lance personalized every little touch and definitely eased our nerves, including while we were standing up there during the ceremony. He was responsive to all our questions, helped us personalize the ceremony, and truly just carried everything out perfectly! I am so glad we ended up going with Lance, and the wedding would not have been the same without him!
Candace and Steven
Hi Lance, I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for an amazing ceremony you provided for us a few weeks ago. I was so incredibly nervous, and you made things so much easier, and memorable. You are so amazing at what you do, and thank you so much again for sharing in our special day!
Thank you!, Brittni & Clifford
Lance, Kevin and I would like to thank you for helping to make our day extra special. Your service was exactly the perfect mix of humor and seriousness that perfectly reflected our relationship. You helped to make everything flow so easily and maintain the carefree style we were looking for in our wedding.
Sincerely, Jessica & Kevin M.
Lance is one of the very best. He’s not only a nice guy, he’s great at officiating weddings. I’ve been photographing weddings for more than 16 years, so I’ve seen allot….. I HIGHLY recommend Lance. Reliable, friendly and memorable. I look forward to working with Lance again.
I can’t even begin to thank-you for what you have done for Jay and I. The ceremony was absolutely perfect for us and it wouldn’t have been that way without you. Jay, my sister, my brother, and I all felt like we had known you forever and that made it especially perfect.
Your sense of humor met with ours and we all had a great time. Your ideas for pictures during and afterwards just blew me away and everyone that has seen them have nothing but great things to say. Especially the pictures you took, they came out wonderfully and those are the ones I will be framing for our walls. I just can’t say thank-you enough. I hope you enjoyed the day as well, even though it was as hot as the surface of the sun!!!
Thank-you again, Rebecca & Jay W.
