We hired Lalli to write and perform a spoken word love poem for our daughter’s wedding. He gave us the opportunity to hear the piece before he performed it at the wedding, in case we wanted to make any changes to it. We decided to hear it for the first time at the wedding, and we were completely blown away by the piece and presentation. None of our guests had ever heard spoken word before and they really enjoyed it. Lalli’s poem and performance was the highlight of the reception and we couldn’t be more happy with Lalli as a person.

We are an organization who serves individuals in recovery from mental health. We began the process of researching and seeking a guest speaker to present for our special day and decided to hire Lalli. To put into words what Lalli brought to our organization today will not give the experience he provided for our us justice. His energy and performance were electric while captivating our members’ attention, bringing forth emotion, curiosity, and healing amongst our folks. After the presentation he took time to meet with our members and share words of inspiration, kindness, and hope to each of them. This was a wonderful experience for us all, which we are extremely grateful for.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lalli after my mother passed. We hired him to speak at her funeral and to help convey all of her beauty inside and out and all of her love and just how amazing she was. Lalli took the time to speak with us over the phone and relate to us by letting us know about who he is. On the phone we knew after just a few minutes he was the guy! He then literally took the time to meet us in person and learn about who my mom was. He listened intently and took notes, asked questions, the whole 9 yards. And it was less like a business meeting and more like talking to an old friend! Words cannot describe how amazing, beautiful, heartfelt and joyous his work was. He not only heard everything we told him but he embodied it and put it into words that didn't just tell you but captured everything about who my mother was. He hinted at memories big and small, captured my mother's and father's love and marriage, our childhoods and her essence. If you didn't know her, you did then after his performance. And it was truly a performance to remember! You couldn't take your eyes off him and you couldn't stop listening and most importantly feeling everything he said. His videos on here really dont do him justice! That night wouldn't have been the same without him as he was the big bow that tied everything together and gave meaning to each little decoration and action. Meaning to a life cut short but lived to the fullest. We wanted to celebrate her life and he allowed us to do just that. I couldn't recommend Lalli enough! He's the real deal and everything you want in a poet, artist, and performer!! And I hope one day to hire him again but hopefully for something happier! Thank you Lalli not just for the amazing memories but the copies of your poem about my mom as I see them as a little piece of her and that's all thanks to you!!
