I am the founder of Lady Cop Lauren LLC and a career law enforcement professional with over 21 years of experience. I serve as an Assistant Chief with a police agency of more than 850 employees, including 700 sworn officers, that protects and partners with a community of roughly 340,000 residents. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to leadership development, personnel training, and organizational accountability. I create and teach leadership and personnel development courses for a variety of organizations and companies across the country, helping shape current and future leaders at all levels.
Through Lady Cop Lauren, I share my passion for developing leaders, especially women in law enforcement and other male-dominated professions. I provide workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and host the Lady Cop Lauren podcast, where I highlight women leaders, encourage women to pursue careers in policing, and equip them to rise into leadership roles. My goal is to educate, inspire, and connect - helping others grow as leaders who thrive with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
I keep my technical needs simple and am easy to work with. For most presentations, I use PowerPoint, so I request a computer with the ability to run my presentation (or the option to connect my own laptop), a projector with screen, and a reliable internet connection. Basic audio and lighting suitable for the room size are appreciated to ensure the best experience for the audience. Beyond that, I’m flexible and able to adapt to the event’s setup.
I’ve been deeply shaped by the people and experiences in my life. My friends and family have been my steady foundation, encouraging me to pursue big goals with courage and grace. My faith has kept me grounded and given me perspective through both successes and setbacks. The leaders I’ve worked with, both the great ones who inspired me and the difficult ones who challenged me, have taught me invaluable lessons about the kind of leader I strive to be. And the personal challenges I’ve faced and overcome have given me resilience, empathy, and a strong belief that growth often comes through adversity. Together, these influences have guided not only my career but also the way I serve others as a leader and mentor.
