What to expect

As an extremely professional person, you can expect me to show up early, set up quietly and give the best performance I can.

I have a soft, soothing voice, which is great for background music. I will not overcrowd the space with my music, instead, I will play to fit the ambience. That being said, one of the greatest compliments I think a musician can get is to "turn it up!" So if you'd like me to be louder, I will happily oblige.

About

Growing up overseas in 7 different countries gave me the privilege of experiencing music in its rawest form from all corners of the world. Because I needed to navigate new language and cultural barriers every few years, I found a way to communicate sincerely through music and carry that skill with me today even back in the United States.

After coming to the sore realization I couldn't carry a piano with me everywhere I went, it didn't take too long for a guitar to fall into my hands. Just like my voice, I found a connection with the rawness and simplicity of an acoustic guitar, an instrument that could follow me anywhere. My guitar and I have had the honor of playing all over the world from Cambodia, to Thailand, to the Philippines and all the way back around to Southern California.

One of the highest compliments I have ever received after performing was that I "have the voice of a story teller with something important to say." Those words continue to stick with me as continue to write, record, produce and perform my own music.

Additional booking notes

I have a minimal set up, so I don't need much space! All I need is relatively close access to a power source (I have extension chords to help with that). I have my own sound system so will not need to be provided with anything else. If you want me outside on grass, all I ask is that the ground be dry!

Influences and inspiration

I am a huge Nora Jones and Fleetwood Mac fan! Both of their styles heavily influence not only what I play, but the way I play.
