Kyle O’Brien is a Colorado-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader performing bluegrass, country, folk, and Americana music for weddings, private parties, corporate events, festivals, churches, and community gatherings.
Kyle grew up in Evergreen, Colorado, playing music with his family from an early age. That background gave him a deep connection to bluegrass and traditional American music, along with years of experience performing for audiences of all ages. Over the course of more than 20 years as a professional musician, he has performed throughout Colorado, toured nationally and internationally, and worked with a wide range of respected artists and bands.
His musical experience includes performances with the Henhouse Prowlers, The Wrecklunds, Chance McCoy, Scott Slay and Big Hooray, Misisipi Mike Wolf, and other accomplished musicians. He has also represented the United States as a cultural ambassador through international music programs in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Kyle performs on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and bass, and is available as a solo artist or with a duo, trio, or full band. This flexibility allows each performance to be matched to the size, atmosphere, and budget of the event. His repertoire includes hundreds of songs, ranging from Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, John Prine, and John Denver to Old Crow Medicine Show, The Lumineers, traditional bluegrass favorites, gospel music, and original material.
His original album, *Country Pie*, reflects the same mixture of country, bluegrass, folk, and Americana that shapes his live performances. Whether the event calls for relaxed acoustic background music, familiar sing-along songs, a formal wedding ceremony, or an energetic full-band performance, Kyle works closely with each client to create the right atmosphere.
For weddings, Kyle can provide music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, or any combination of the three. Ceremony music may include guitar, violin, bass, or a small acoustic ensemble. Traditional selections such as Pachelbel’s Canon and the Bridal Chorus are available, along with special requests that hold personal meaning for the couple.

We can provide a complete professional sound system for events ranging from intimate gatherings of approximately 50 guests to large events of up to 3,000 people. We bring our own microphones, microphone stands, cables, amplifiers, instruments, speakers, mixing equipment, and other necessary performance gear.
The client or venue must provide:
• Access to a reliable electrical power supply near the performance area
• A safe, level, and reasonably clean performance space
• Adequate room for the number of musicians booked and their equipment
• Protection from rain, snow, excessive heat, direct sunlight, and strong wind
• A weather contingency plan for outdoor events
• Reasonable access for unloading and loading equipment
For outdoor performances, a covered stage, tent, pavilion, or suitable indoor backup location is required when poor weather is possible. The performance area must remain dry, including the ground beneath the musicians and all electrical equipment.
Stage size and power requirements depend on whether the booking is for a solo performer, duo, trio, or full band. We are happy to coordinate with the venue, event planner, or production team before the event to confirm the setup.
If the venue already provides professional sound equipment, we can work with its sound engineer when arrangements are discussed in advance. Please let us know about any sound limits, stage restrictions, load-in procedures, or venue requirements before the event.
