I'm a classically trained pianist, though I play all styles of music. I've played for hundreds of wedding and parties. June 24, 2025Kris did a phenomenal job as piano player for our wedding. He learned the specific sheet music that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and played it beautifully. I had bad nerves that day so the ceremony started past the scheduled time — Kris was understanding and adaptive and was able to play enough music until we were ready to start. Walking down the aisle to live piano music was one of the highlights of the day for me. Oh, and the piano in our church venue was quite old and rarely played — but he made it work! Highly recommend his services.

My name is Kris Simonson and I provide piano music for any event. I mostly play for weddings, but I've also played for theater productions, private parties, churches, and funerals. I majored in piano at UMD. I also have a degree in Elementary Education from (link hidden)holastica and a degree in vocal and classroom music from Hamline Universtiy. Besides playing piano for many events, I also teach elementary music for a public school and I teach piano at Schmitt Music. I also have several piano Cd's of my original music.
