Monika spent most of her younger years listening to Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, among other many vocally inspiring musicians. Steven Tyler was her first influence, so moving into a tribute to Janis Joplin, was natural for her. (She also performs a Dedication Tribute to Aerosmith named DreamZz On)
