What to expect
Dark melodic folk pop with a primarily acoustic-based show. I'm slowly working in some backing track focused songs into my set. I typically perform originals but I am happy to discuss weaving in a few covers upon request. My music is warm, melodic and soothing to set the vibe for your next party or event.
About
California native Kinsly seeks to evoke a heartfelt resonance with her twist on alternative folk-pop. Encompassed within a haunting, ethereal soundscape, her soulful lyrics are raw and unfailingly compassionate. They speak to themes of mental health, trauma, self harm, healing and growth. Her songwriting is deeply intimate and thoughtful, while her sound is both nostalgic and contemporary - fusing a lyric-forward folk style with melodic dark pop.
