Kings of Ewing are a five-piece mostly-covers band from Evanston, Illinois — living on one block of Ewing Avenue and built for a good time. We started in 2023 to play our own block party and liked it so much we never stopped.
With four vocalists, a horn player, keys, and a rhythm section that knows how to read a room, we keep the dance floor moving and the crowd singing along.
We can bring our own PA and mixing board and run our own sound if needed, or plug into whatever a venue has. Either way works for us.

Kings of Ewing are a five-piece mostly-covers band from Evanston, Illinois — living on one block of Ewing Avenue and built for a good time. We started in 2023 to play our own block party and liked it so much we never stopped.
By day we hold down regular jobs like everyone else. By night we play the music we love — six decades of rock, pop, folk, blues, and soul, from Beatles classics and Allman Brothers jams to Tom Petty, Chappell Roan, and everything in between. With four vocalists, a horn player, keys, and a rhythm section that knows how to read a room, we keep the dance floor moving and the crowd singing along.
We play weddings, block parties, fundraisers, bars, and backyard gatherings across the North Chicagoland area. We're flexible on production too — we can bring our own PA and mixing board and run our own sound if needed, or plug into whatever a venue has. Either way works for us.
No rock star egos. No tour bus. Just five friends from the same block who happen to make a really good racket.
No requirements. We have our own PA.
