What to Expect
You can expect my standard, 1-hour performance of one of the following themes (or a mix of the following) if your event is less than 3 months away:
-Classical 1 (Baroque/Classical)
-Classical 2 (Renaissance/20th century)
-Ragtime (Predominantly Scott Joplin)
-Modern (Mix of songs/music 1950s onwards)
If there is more time available (from 3 to 6 months), other pieces from the same theme may be added or replaced. This gives me time to get familiar with the new pieces.
If the event is more than 6 months away, I will work with you to tailor a 1-hour program to suit your needs and desires.
I was trained as a classical piano performer at the conservatory of Fribourg, Switzerland, where I earned the equivalent of a professional degree. In the course of my training, I also learned "new age" style, and some ragtime. The focus of my musical studies was theoretical and the bulk of practice I have done is repetition using sheet music. I am not a freestyle pianist, nor jazz nor able to improvise to a decent standard. In my 19 years of piano playing, I have had experience interpreting the works of Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, Debussy and others. I have had teaching experience with beginners in Switzerland as well as with Tune It Up LLC in Prescott Valley.
Additional Booking Notes
The event organizer shall provide access to the piano used for the event for me to practice at least 1 week prior to the event.
