May 16, 2026We hired John for an all night party at my son’s high school. He was gracious enough to come from midnight until two in the morning. First, his talent is incredible. The kids loved his pictures. However, my favorite part was how he engaged each student as he drew them. He really listened to their plans and their activities and included that info in their drawings. The students really enjoyed talking to him, and they absolutely loved their pictures. Hiring John was one of our best decisions of the night. Through gigsalad, it was incredibly easy to book, confirm, and pay.

When I do an event every person I draw is treated like the very first customer (even if they are the 45th)..also during my service I am making the subject feel comfortable with my off the wall (but always PG rated) humor...and finally every picture comes with a zip lock bag for protection.
Started in the year 2000...interned at a cartoon studio..then worked a summer at an amusement park, doing caricatures...set off on my own after that doing the three f's..fairs festivals and flea markets...from that branched out to doing kids birthday parties, graduations, proms, weddings and nursing homes..I do the Pennsylvania Farm show since 2010..I do the Bloomsburg Fair since 2005..been in many newspapers over the years...from may to December for 17years...have drawn hundreds of thousands of people..even "Gene Shyntsky" WWF superstar!
Well-lit area is all that is necessary for me to operate functionally.
