A pop-up comedy show with Don't Tell Comedy

Overview

I bring a fun, high-energy presence to the stage with tightly-written jokes, playful crowdwork, and a focus on making the night as enjoyable for the audience as possible. My entire act is anchored in personal stories, mostly about my family and relationship, giving everyone something to relate to. With a decade of experience performing in front of a wide variety of crowds, I pride myself on bringing comedy to the stage that EVERYONE can appreciate and find themselves in.

Book Kevin! He’s the best

Kevin is such a wonderful comedian and a pleasure to work with. I’m booked him multiple times and he is always a kind and hilarious presence who you can rely on to be friendly and on-time. A meticulous joke writer and wonderful human being, he would be an asset to any event. Book him!

What to expect

When you book me to perform at your event, I'll be there on-time and ready to go!

I can provide up to a 90 minute show (Note: Individually, I'll perform up to 75 minutes. If you request a 90 minute show, I can bring an opener at no extra cost to you, or we can plan for a 15 minute meet-n-greet following the show).

During the performance, I'll request that all music and other distractions (TVs, arcade games, conversations, etc) be turned off so that the audience can engage and truly enjoy the show.

Please note that while I don't know anyone who would categorize my material as "offensive," it is all written from a grown-up perspective for a grown-up audience. Essentially, the show's not built for children under 16. It's built for people who have lived a little longer than that. Like you!

About

Kevin Seefried is a NY-born, Colorado-bred, Boston-loathing, and DC-Based comedian who audiences have called “a total hunk” and “on a phone.” Since 2012, Kevin’s brought his high-energy style and tightly written material to stages across the country (some 20+ states at this point). He’s been lucky enough to be selected for over 15 comedy festivals including the Laughing Skull, Boston, and Underground Comedy Festivals. He also performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the 2019 REACH Opening Festival. Oh, and also please don’t Google him. Some terrorist with the same name as him carried a real bad flag into the US Capitol and totally screwed with the algorithm. It wasn’t this Kevin — they even wrote about it in the Washington Post!

Additional booking notes

In terms of lighting, if you can set a spotlight on the stage and put the audience in darkness -- it'll be a better experience for all involved.

On the stage, I'll just need a mic, a stand, and a stool.

Finally, I'd love to collaborate on room setup to make sure we're creating an environment conducive to a show. Eliminating gaps in seating, bringing the crowd closer to the stage, etc. can make a HUGE difference in the experience for everyone and I want to ensure we create the best show possible.
