Overview

I'm a guitarist/singer who plays original, easy smooth jazz. My songs and jamming provide an excellent background for people socializing. I've played many winery events doing this exact thing. My bossa nova and swing inspired original music, is uplifting and soothing at the same time. If you'd like to hear a sample of what I do, please go to kenteel dot com. I work usually anywhere between Reno and San Francisco. I'm a one man operation so I can charge less than a band, but fill a room with lively music. Thanks for taking the time to read this information. Perhaps we can work together to make your even a memorable one.

Smooth relaxing jazz

Ken used his guitar and soothing voice to create a nice beat for the audience.
He has a gadget linked to his equipment that allows him to record a background beat and then play like a duet. It was a nice robust full sound.

Ali was the person that I worked with. Basically, everything went well. Ali told me that she is a hard grader. She told me that if I arrived at her CARE FACILITY with a TUXEDO on, then I would have got 5 stars. I'll note this for future reference. The people enjoyed the performance and showed it. I enjoyed the gig. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I use a looper pedal for back ground rhythm guitar tracks on some songs. I improvise guitar solos over the top of these rhythm tracks. 4 stars for getting paid: took 4 phone calls to get a check after the gig.

Great experience

We had Ken play background jazz music at our outdoor baby shower at our home and we were very pleased with his service and enjoyed his talent very much! His playing made for a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and I couldn't imagine our event without live music. He was very nice, professional and accommodating. I would recommend him as a musician to anyone.
