What to expect

Ken Taylor's "Golden Era Dance Band" is a full-sized dance orchestra. The standard uniform is black tuxedo, unless otherwise specified. The band recreates the classic dance hit songs from the libraries of the Miller, Basie, Ellington, Goodman, Shaw, Kenton, Brown band libraries, for your dancing pleasure.

About

Ken Taylor is a retired music educator. He created the "Golden Era Dance Band" in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2012 to provide dance music drawn from the libraries of the big bands that toured the USA from the 1930's through the 1960's.
Ken has moved back to his home town of Cincinnati, Ohio. Now his "Golden Era Dance Band" serves southwest Ohio, southeast Indiana, and northern Kentucky with the same outstanding dance music from the big band era.

Additional booking notes

Ken Taylor's "Golden Era Dance Band" is fully equipped with music stands, lights, keyboard, drums, and PA sound system. The PA can be used by the client for special announcements, remarks, speeches, and/or special presentations. All the band needs is electric power to site, and if outside, protection against the weather.
