This powerhouse 17-piece big band from Akron, Ohio is led by Las Vegas veteran trumpeter, Dave Banks. The band features top players in the Ohio area. Dave fronts the band with his soaring trumpet. They specialize in themed shows including the "Sinatra Tribute," "Aloha Elvis 50th Anniversary Show," "Rat Pack" shows, The USO Variety Show, "Rockin' Big Band Show," Frank and Barbra "One Night Only", Peggy Lee, Liza Minelli, and "Spies in the Night" Music of James Bond, Sammy and Buddy, and more! This band will make your event sparkle. They are versitile, and frequently back major entertainers like The Temptations, Four Tops, and more. I had no idea what to expect when booking through Gigsalad. I had no references and no background in this area. I was planning a corporate event to honor our parents for our family business that started in 1956. The theme was stepping back in time to launch the future. When Dave Banks Big Band arrived, I was excited to see the setup and then, WOW! They began to practice and I was blown away by their talent and professionalism. I really thought I had stepped back in time to Las Vegas! Every detail of the evening exceeded all of my expectations. The Rat Pack was absolutely amazing, and as my dad said. "It was scary how much they were like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Dave, Jr., and Dean Martin." What an incredibly classy act. They honored our parents and blessed us tremendously! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dave Banks Big Band and the Rat Pack. Thank you all for a wonderful and memorable evening. Let's do it again sometime!

Their experience in the professional music industry gives your event planner confidence knowing this band knows how to deliver an evening of musical entertainment.

Current Themed Shows We Produce:
Frank Sinatra Tribute Show. We feature our Sinatra artist as he takes you through a two hour journey of music from "The Chairman of the Board." The music arrangements are just like the originals!
Back To Vegas With Frank And Dean. This is the Rat Pack "Lite" as our Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin characters play off each other and sing their famous songs!
Rat Pack Show. Frank, Dean, and Sammy. Together onstage, recreating the Copa Room at the Sands Hotel in old Las Vegas. It's a magical time, and an unforgettable experience. We also do a "Holiday" version with the Pack singing Christmas songs!
Aloha 50th Anniversary Tribute To Elvis! The King of Rock n Roll actually used a big band to back his live shows. We recreate the scenes from his Aloha show with authentic versions of Elvis's hits complete with back up singers too!
USO Variety Show! This wonderful show spans 7 decades of music and features a special segment dedicated to our Veterans! Multiple headliners, and all live music!
Spies in the Night: The Music of 007 and More!
This fun show highlights the iconic theme songs of the James Bond movies! Your favorite Bonds, Bond girls, and songs performed live! You will be "shaken AND stirred!"
Rockin' Big Band Show!There is really nothing like hearing a big band do contemporary music. This show features R B, Classic Rock and Jazz performed by two tremendously talented singers and backed by the power of a big band. The music is electric, and you will go home singing the songs as well!
Sammy and Buddy Revisited! The famed live recorded concert at the Sands Hotel in 1966 that featured Sammy Davis Jr. and Buddy Rich. We feature music from that album as well as signature selections from both of their libraries!
