Live Jazz is available in Duo (Saxophone and Guitar or Piano), Trio (Saxophone, Guitar or Piano, and Bass), Quartet (Saxophone, Guitar or Piano, Bass, Drums), or Quintet with vocalist. We can play a variety of styles including traditional jazz, pop, bossa nova, funk, and R&B. Please feel free to request certain songs or styles of music.

December 19, 2025We used this group for our Holiday Party. They were on-time, very professional and a pleasure to work with! The music was fabulous, a mix of Jazz and mostly Holiday music. We were so lucky to have them as we booked them at the last minute (only two-three weeks) ahead of the company event. I would definitely book them again! This is not the best photo but this was them right after set up in the corner!

November 1, 2023We had Ken and his band play at a private event recently. They played a selection of standards, traditional New Orleans Jazz as well as original numbers. As a jazz enthusiast, I can relate that I was blown away by the level of talent and execution. The music was fantastic and the team was highly professional in every aspect. I highly recommend Ken for your next event.

Ken Moran is a SF Bay Area native. He has performed at numerous national and international jazz festivals as well as teaching and playing flute, clarinet, and saxophone in the Los Angeles music scene for over 10 years. As a woodwind teacher, Ken founded the At Home Music Academy in the Los Angeles Area. Having now returned to the SF Bay Area, Ken Teaches privately from his studios in Mountain View and Cupertino and has published his first instructional book, "Beginning Saxophone—Everything and More You Need in the First Year of Playing." Ken performs with his quartet and many other groups throughout the Bay Area. He holds a BM from Cal State University Northridge and a MM from San Jose State University, where he has taught as a Graduate Associate.
