Kaylah Zuli is a talented, professional, graceful, awe-inspiring and award-winning dancer with a passion for performance. From stage shows to backyard birthday parties, I am sure to bring you the best of local performance entertainment. My styles include: Circus Entertainment and Fire Dancing, Traditional belly dance, Gypsy dance with live drumming, Modern Dance, Tribal fusion dance, and LED performance.
We hired Kaylah for our 2 years olds birthday. She had a seen a fire show on vacation and that's all she continued to talk about.
Kaylah made our dream a reality!! With "that is cool", "wow", "look at that", "there's more" it was definitely a success in our 2yr olds mind.
The show had different elements and being able to host in our back yard was so convenient. Thanks again for the memorable night.
This is the second time I've had Kaylah out to perform for us and booking get a second time was a deliberate choice. She and her team are completely professional and will put on a fantastic show.
Kaylah and her partner were on time, friendly and entertaining! They did a great job (Despite the wind). Highly recommend.
Lazuli was a great addition to our event. She was very professional and put on a great show. I would recommend her to anyone!
We had Lazuli performing in our wedding, she & her team did two separate sets. The first set was an LED light set and the second set was a fire set. The guests we're mesmerized with her performance and my bride was extremely happy. I highly recommend Lazuli and her team for your next event.
I was surprised at the range of dance performance she can do. She can customize her fire dance to LED to perform in hotels banquet and less fire safe areas. She is able to get everything you need to help with the event. Her flyers are fantastic and her contacts are great. She was more then just a dancer for our event. I am glad to see her on gigsalad.
Kaylah is so inspiring to me every time I see her dance or perform. Her dancing is very well thought out and choreographed skillfully. I have seen her at many performances and have been blown away every time. I also love her costumes!
I took a 7 lesson series of bellydancing instructed by Lazuli. She was kind, helpful, fun, and motivating. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
For any of you that have ever booked an entertainer like this, you know how flaky they can be. This is NOT the case here at all! I went through 5 entertainers, that backed out last minute for an event. then i met Lazuli!
She kept in contact with me before the gig (awesome). she was VERY safety conscious. she was ON TIME, and delivered one HELL of a performance!
VERY pleasant to deal with. easy going and friendly. NOT some "rock star" or "cool guy entertainer" that thinks the world owes her something (i like that). She even stuck around the event, and made friends with the people in attendance. she seemed like she had as much fun with US as we did with her.
THOROUGHLY entertaining! While she has many other talents (belly dancing, modern dancing, etc) I hired her specifically for a fire show, and WOW! poi, flaming staff, flaming swords, and flaming fans. Even on a windy evening she gave a flawless performance!
Lazuli charged me a fair price for an amazing show. being in the service industry, i also know that tipping is always appreciated.
This gal is awesome, the whole package from top to bottom. I do an event every 6 months, and will hire her (and maybe some of her friends) every time. I STRONGLY recommend her for any event you want to be a cut above the rest. Lazuli will NOT let you down!
Every time Kaylah goes on stage, I know she is going to bring her years of professional dancing with her. With that, her abilities with fire / staff/ belly dance/ fans and any other talent she adds to the list are beautifully advanced and are entrancing entertainment. She’s an amazing performer who can choreograph entire projects and I can’t wait to see what she creates next.
What to Expect
The best in presentation of traditional bellydance mixed with my own personal flair. A professional performance that is fun, technically advanced, and tailored to fit your venue/event.

Lazuli is also a proud member of the Gypsy Eyes Dance troupe, and has been representing traditional gypsy dance at renaissance festivals for the last 6 years.
Additional Booking Notes
For Fire performances I will need a minimum of a 5x5 space but prefer 10 x 10 or larger that is clear of overhanging decor. I will also need an additional space that is away from the performance area to store fuel and additional props. Both spaces will need to be clear of direct traffic of patrons or guests.

Influences & Inspiration
I am inspired by movement of all kinds, I am consistently inspired by my dance teachers- Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, and April Rose. I also study classical forms of dance as well as dance therapy and I try to include any healing emotional elements I can into my dance, so to give it the deepest meaning to the viewer. I am also inspired by yoga, classical Indian dance, and Balinese dance (the intricacy of Balinese movement is just so amazing to me). New music, the dance community, and my peers are also a constant source of inspiration in my work.
