Great photographer!!! Highly recommend!

Karl was our wonderful photographer for an engagement party (of about 45 guests) for my son and his fiancee in Croton Falls, NY. It was a great experience working with him from booking to the end of the event - and the same day, he sent us the link for the photos which already included some beautiful "highlight" shots which captured the event so well. He was super quick to respond to any questions, very professional, friendly, unobtrusive and adaptable. He took photos outside as well as inside the restaurant and all the photos are beautiful. I would highly recommend him for any event.

Karl was great to work with! He showed up on time and the photos turned out fantastic. He got incredible candids of guests. I loved that he noticed the tiny details (hair tie on a wrist or a phone in the background). That attention to detail helped the photos turn out better.

In my view, nothing compares to photographing once in a lifetime memories. As film-maker John Hughes wrote "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!"
My ideology is that we should always strive for beauty, and respect the environment, animals, and each other as much as ourselves.

With Seven Years Experience, I’m Ready to Photograph Anything You Envision!

At age 8, a Kodak Cameo was my first camera, which I used to photograph my friends and my incredible pet hamster. In high school, I took a photo with a video camera and won the "colorful tree contest" photography award. Looking back, I guess that was a sign, I'd become a photographer later in life. Even to this day, I emulate the nostalgic look of film, with my Nikon 35mm digital camera.

My career officially began after college, when I landed a job as a weekend nightclub photographer. This led to my first wedding; the experience won over my heart, and I’ve captured many weddings and engagements since, from intimate, to grand, beach to banquet hall.

· Every spring, I photograph grads during their proudest moment. My portraits have appeared in yearbooks from Yale to Northeastern, and on the social media of young sports stars and dancers.
· I’m there to cheer clients on in every stage and role in life! Birthdays from ages one to to seventy-five. Family portraits for every holiday and season. Team building at golf courses and concert halls; new product sendoffs in private jets. Surprise proposals at seashores and wineries. Weddings everywhere. What adventure awaits me next? Hopefully, yours!!

Education is a Lifelong Journey To Perfect My Craft for You!
· Bachelor’s of Science In Media Communications. State University of New York.
· Do you think photography is just about picture making? So did I! I’ve been surprised to discover a photographer’s roles are many, and grateful for those foundational courses in liberal arts
· Photo workshops: For the past year, I’ve done Zoom meetings with photographers around the world for weekly critiques of products and portraits by lighting virtuoso, Don Giannatti.

· Member, PPA (Professional Photographers America). Liability Insurance, too!

My Approach: Your candid moments, timeless portraits, and unique surroundings are all artfully illuminated and interwoven to tell your unforgettable story.

By day, I seek out natural light to create a bright and airy, and sometimes ethereal look at golden hour. If it's cloudy or at night, I'll usually use Profoto flash for a more commercial feeling, glamour or party look. At all hours, I strive to be an oasis of calm amidst your whirlwind; to be responsive to your wishes; to inspire smiles in the eyes and heart.
