Needle In The Groove

Tom and his team were awesome from start to finish. They played the songs we wanted and even the parents and grandparents were on the floor with us. Our guests are still talking about what a great time they had. Tom also put together a beautiful montage with the pictures we provided. We could not have asked for better entertainment. You will not be disappointed!

I couldn't recommend anyone more highly than Tom and Needle in the Groove. Our daughter's sweet 16 party was a huge success! Everyone young and older danced the whole night away! Tom made the night so personable and made all of us feel so special. Especially our daughter. It meant so much to her to feel happy and loved and We owe it to Tom!
The special lighting made the night electrified and the music videos were a big success! The party was a huge success thanks to Needle in the Groove!

We are pleased to recommend Tommy Cerino of Needle in the Groove. Our family has had the pleasure of working with Tommy on numerous occasions over the past 20 years, and most recently, he was the DJ for our daughter Julia’s Sweet 16 celebration at Larkfield Manor on January 18, 2026.
Tommy is an incredibly talented, fun, and energetic DJ who knows exactly how to create an exciting atmosphere and keep a party going. He has a special ability to read the crowd and, in particular, knows what music to play to get teenagers up on the dance floor and having a great time. Julia’s Sweet 16 was everything she hoped it would be, and Tommy played a huge role in making the celebration so memorable.
What truly sets Tommy apart, however, is his attention to detail and exceptional communication. He was in constant communication with us for months leading up to Julia’s party. He took the time to speak with Julia directly about the music she wanted to hear and asked her to create a list of songs for each person she mentioned during her candle-lighting ceremony. Once he had those lists, he seamlessly incorporated the songs into the celebration. Everything was handled flawlessly and exactly as Julia envisioned it.
Tommy also goes far beyond what is expected of him. One perfect example occurred with the candle-lighting ceremony. The catering hall had failed to tell us that candles and candle holders were not provided. Tommy reminded us to check with the hall and make sure we purchased everything we needed. Thanks to his attentiveness, we avoided what could have been a very stressful and embarrassing situation on an important night. That is simply the kind of person Tommy is—he thinks ahead, pays attention to the little things, and genuinely wants his clients to have the best possible experience.
Another benefit of working with Tommy is the variety of packages and options he offers. Clients can choose services such as photography and video, as well as additional features including TVs and special event lighting. He works with each client to create an experience that fits their individual needs and vision.
Most importantly, Tommy treats his customers like family. Even after an event is over, he continues to stay in touch with us throughout the year, sending birthday and holiday messages and maintaining the relationship he has built with our family.
