We had the absolute pleasure of hiring Karen Beaches for our Palm Springs event, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. From the very beginning, Karen was incredibly professional and organized, scheduling several check-in calls ahead of time to make sure everything would run exactly how we envisioned. That level of care and communication made us feel completely confident going into the event.

Karen was so warm and engaging with our guests — posing for photos, keeping the energy high, and making bingo as fun and interactive as possible. Their performance of Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan absolutely SLAYED and had the entire crowd hyped and dancing. They truly understood the assignment and went above and beyond to deliver a fabulous, fun, and unforgettable experience.

Karen came fully prepared with all their own bingo equipment (speaker, microphone, board, and pieces), arrived early to help usher in the crowd and build excitement, and even followed up afterward with the kindest message about our staff and attendees. It was clear they made a genuine effort to connect with everyone in the room.

20/10 would recommend Karen Beaches for any event — professional, talented, hilarious, and an absolute joy to work with. We can’t wait to book them again! 💖

Karen Beaches was the absolute highlight of our wedding renewal, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect officiant for our ceremony. From the moment she arrived—perfectly on time and consummate in her professionalism—she brought a warmth and energy that made our intimate gathering of 25 guests feel incredibly special. The absolute standout moment was her surprise performance of Chappell Roan numbers for my husband, Skye; it was a total showstopper that left everyone cheering and created a memory we will cherish forever. If you are looking for someone who perfectly balances the heart and soul of a gay wedding with world-class entertainment, Karen is the gold standard!

I am a wedding planner, and I helped a couple hire Karen Beaches to do a cameo Drag Performance to kick off dancing at their wedding, and I could not recommend Karen Beaches enough! Not only was Karen's performance EPIC, but Kevin (a.ka. Karen Beaches) was an absolute pleasure to work leading up to the day. He was always super responsive to emails and messages and even took the time to hop on a zoom call to hone in on the couples vision. The zoom call went great, thanks to Kevin's friendly personality and natural leadership style that put everyone at ease. On the day, Karen arrived on time in incredible hair, makeup, and outfit, and put on a show stopping performance. The couple absolutely loved the performance, and so many guests and vendors were tagging videos of Karen for weeks that followed. If I received an inquiry from a couple to hire a drag performer again, I will definitely be reaching out Kevin Beaches - 100!!!

Karen was first and foremost a professional. She was incredibly easy to work with and very thorough with the details. We hadn’t hired a drag performer before, and Karen was incredibly helpful in asking all the right questions to make sure the event was just right. She was also very, very flexible throughout the entire process--from booking to the event day.

Right as the event started, an absolute out-of-nowhere downpour appeared, and we had to move inside. Karen was so on it--she mingled with guests while we moved everything and was even ready with a backup number that she called “tame,” yet still featured a headstand.

As a personality, she was funny, personable, and an overall great host. We originally hired Karen because we love comedy and campy performers, and she absolutely came through. We hired her for a themed birthday party, and to say she went all in would be putting it lightly--she even debuted a whole Marilyn Monroe look and number!

I would absolutely hire and watch her perform any day.
