Discography
Kandice signed to Atlantic Records,by Watch out Productions, Nick Martinelli ,producer. Worked with Mcfadden and Whitehead. Kandice established her band called, “Awesome”, with Doug Grigsby, Darryl Burgees, Gene Verdell, Brian Kelly, Kenny Jackson and Roosevelt Walker in Camden New Jersey. Kandice sang background with Rose Royce, Jean Carne, Miles Jaye,Miki Howard, Regena Belle,Teena Marie,Phyllis Hyman,Howard Hewitt, Chris Walker, Sinister,Paula Abdul Siedah Garrett and many more.
Kandice produced and arranged “Could you be loved” and performed at Madison Square Garden in 2004.
Kandice decided to go behind the scenes and established Sweet Productions. Kandice promoted major concerts all over the country. At one time she was consider the only black female promoter in the business. Concerts promoted: Rick Ross, Juvenile, BG, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett,Lee Williams, New Generation, Mike Jones, O’Jay’s, Phyllis Hyman, Vesta Williams, Phil Perry, Keith Washington, The Winans, Gerald Levert, Toni Toni, The Marley’s, Hope Flood, Cheryl Underwood, TC Curry and many more.
Now Kandice has taken on the role of Film Director and Co Author for Momma’s Blues. A periodical in Philadelphia about the Blues. Kandice Mother was a blues Singer, Cindy James,
who started her career in Philadelphia. Kandice Father, William Carney Jr. , Jazz Drummer.
