It doesn’t even feel right calling her Kalinda. She IS Marilyn Monroe! When I tell you, she was one of the best highlights of my 40th birthday party, I cannot stress in enough! Everyone commented on how fun and funny she was. How well she kept the energy going all night. My brother and his friend tried so hard to get her to break character but it was impossible. Absolutely above and beyond performance and I cannot wait to have an event that I can book her for again she was that good!

In addition to telegrams, we have done all-day company events,weddings, birthdays, media appearances, and other private events before with both. Our character performers are expert improvisers - we absolutely love mingling with all guests and work hard to ensure that all those present have an amazing time.
Our appearances include (but are not limited to): lots of fun, memorable, and personalized interaction/ meet and greet with the birthday celebrant and guests, professional singing, music track accompaniment and ambiance music themed for either or both characters (we can bring along a small speaker with attached music OR provide a shared playlist/emailed tracks to you, if professional singing is needed)!, autographs, time for pictures and cake presentation, and assistance with any pre-planned activities for the event. ACTIVITIES FOR EVENTS:
Our appearances for events include (but are not limited to): lots of fun, memorable, and personalized interaction/ meet and greet and banter with the guests (and, if for a birthday - we ask for as much info about the birthday celebrant to work into our "show" and singing), music track accompaniment (we bring our own music and speaker, if needed), personalized professional singing with Marilyn (we have a song list to choose from, if needed), autographs, time for pictures with family/friends/guests, Marilyn's famous "Happy Birthday" (if for a birthday!), and assistance with any pre-planned activities for the event. Additional booking notes
We do have a separate DJ service we can recommend upon request. We provide a small speaker with ambiance music and singing tracks for small/intimate events. If you are holding a bigger event, we do require a sound system and mic to be provided.

Influences and inspiration
The undeniable legend of Marilyn Monroe has captivated me since 2008, when I first studied her in the role of 'Cherie' in "Bus Stop" (I was currently playing the role for a production at the famous Long Beach Playhouse). I wrote to Don Murray (her co-star in the film) at the time, who graciously shared stories about Marilyn and working on the film. Following the production, I began research on the late actress and studied books, newspapers, newsreels, all of her films, photos, letters, poetry, and anything else I could get my hands on. I traveled to her favorite places, interviewed people who knew Marilyn, and intensely studied the actress on film and off-screen. I fell in love with the beauty of Marilyn inside and out - her amazing creation of the persona of "Marilyn Monroe" from her background as Norma Jean is, and always will be, fascinating. With her innocence mixed with sexiness, finely tuned wit, sweet singing voice, and the inner light that shines brightly on film and in photos, she is a wonderful enigma and a joy to portray! Although many of us pay tribute to the different sides of Marilyn, there will never be quite another exactly like her. I hope to be able to be unique in my portrayal in regards to sincerely capturing the actress and her magic as beloved by so many when they saw her onscreen (not a caricature, but as close as possible to the sweet, funny, sly, and luminous Marilyn we know and love!).
