Overview
Your event deserves more than a playlist, it deserves a Vibe. I’m Kaaos Jones, an open-format DJ with 20+ yrs of experience turning rooms into dance floors. From Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B and unexpected Throwbacks, I read the crowd in real time and deliver sets that keep the energy right where it needs to be.
I treat every event like it’s The Event showing up early, bringing pro-grade sound, and making sure every transition is seamless so your guests only notice one thing: the good time they’re having. My focus is simple to create a music experience that feels effortless, unforgettable, and uniquely yours.
If you want a DJ who’s as serious about the vibe as you are about the event, I’m your guy.

What to expect
When you book me, you’re not just getting a DJ, you are getting someone who’s deeply intentional about setting the tone and elevating the energy of any room I step into. Whether I’m spinning at a corporate event, private party, wedding, or brand activation, my goal is simple: create an unforgettable experience that hits emotionally and sonically.
With over 20 years behind the decks, I bring a wide-reaching music catalog and the kind of versatility that only comes from doing this at a high level across all kinds of crowds and settings. I show up early, come fully prepared, and stay locked in from the first track to the last. Need clean edits? A tailored playlist? Someone who can also MC or help troubleshoot behind the scenes? I got you.
At the end of the day, I don’t just play music—I read the room, move the crowd, and build a vibe that feels authentic to your moment. If you’re looking for a partner in creating something special—not just a DJ—I’m your guy.
About
Hi!
I go by Kaaos Jones, DJ, Vibe Architect, and storyteller through sound. Born in the States, shaped by the world, and forged through 20+ years of live experience, I’ve spun everywhere from intimate lounges to international stages. Before music became my full-time language, I served in the U.S. Air Force, so showing up prepared, reading the room, and adapting on the fly is second nature.
Based in Los Angeles, I specialize in curating energy. One night it’s a high-profile wedding, the next it’s a branded rooftop takeover, a packed club, or a corporate event that needs to not feel like a corporate event. My sets weave through Hip-Hop, R&B, House, Latin, and Global sounds—always tailored, never recycled.
This isn’t a hobby or a side hustle. This is what I do. Whether I’m rocking a crowd of 50 or 5,000, I treat every gig with the same respect: lock in, set the tone, and leave a lasting impression.

Technical Requirements for My DJ Services
I’m flexible and can work with a variety of setups of my own or gear that's provided/in-house, but here’s what I typically need to deliver a smooth and professional performance:
Sound
• A professional-grade sound system appropriate for the venue size (minimum of 2 powered speakers and 1 subwoofer for events with 100+ guests)
• For larger spaces or outdoor events, additional speakers or distributed sound zones may be necessary
• XLR inputs to connect my gear to the house system
• Access to a dedicated power source (preferably a separate circuit from lighting)
DJ Gear
I can bring my own controller or plug into existing venue gear. I’m proficient with:
• Pioneer CDJ-3000s or XDJ-RX3 (if house gear is provided)
• Pioneer DJM-S11, A9, or other industry-standard mixers
• Serato or Rekordbox-based setups, DJ Controllers or Media Players
If I’m providing gear, I’ll bring:
• My personal controller, turntables or media players (i.e. CDJs) , speakers, subwoofers, audio mixers, cabling/power.
• Laptop (MacBook Pro running Serato)
• Backup audio source (USB, iPad, etc.)
Lighting (Optional but Preferred)
• Dance floor or stage lighting helps enhance the vibe and is highly recommended for evening or indoor events
• I can coordinate with lighting techs or bring minimal lighting upon request
Microphones
• 2 wireless handheld microphones (for announcements, MC duties, or speeches)
• Additional microphones (lapel or handheld) can be provided if needed, with advance notice
Setup / Load-in
• Minimum of 60–90 minutes for load-in, setup, and soundcheck
• Easy access to parking/loading zone near the performance area is appreciated
• A table or DJ booth at standard height (waist level), minimum 4–6 ft wide
• Cover or shade for outdoor daytime events (if no tent/stage is provided)
Notes
• I always travel with backup gear and cables just in case
• If you’re unsure about the venue’s setup, I’m happy to do a pre-event tech check or coordinate with your AV team
