The Gainesville-Hall County Black History Society was honored to feature Kiesha Covington & Vibe Theory at our 11th Annual Juneteenth Celebration in 2025. Kiesha delivered an absolutely phenomenal performance that captivated the entire audience from beginning to end. Her powerful voice, engaging stage presence, and authentic connection with the crowd made her a true highlight of the celebration.
Backed by the talented Vibe Theory band, Kiesha brought energy, soul, and excellence to the stage—perfectly embodying the spirit and joy of Juneteenth. Her performance was not only entertaining but deeply inspiring, and we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees of all ages.

About
Just Kiesha C is a powerhouse vocalist and entertainer whose journey from gospel roots to a versatile, genre-blending artist has made her a standout in today’s music scene. Known for her silky smooth vocals and effortless style, Just Kiesha C masterfully blends elements of urban, R&B, jazz, and contemporary sounds, all while infusing her performances with a touch of old-school classics.
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Kiesha began singing at the age of five and honed her craft through years of performance. As a teenager, she toured internationally, performing in Paris, Stockholm, Sweden, Visby, Finland, and Denmark. Her journey continued as she collaborated with renowned gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong, among others. She also lent her voice to Dirk Chaney & Chosen Aggregation, contributing to their debut live recording, God Is Great.
In 2011, Kiesha was nominated for Best New Artist at the Gospel Choice Awards, solidifying her place in the industry. Beyond gospel, she has showcased her talent with live performances appearing in nationally known stage plays “Real Love Ain’t Supposed To Hurt;” "If You're Real Lord Change Me," and "Church Folks."
In 2024 Kiesha was afforded the opportunity to perform the National Anthem for the Atlanta Dream Volleyball Team at Gas South Arena .
Currently, Kiesha serves as the Minister Of Music at St. John Baptist Of Gainesville GA. while continuing to spread joy through her music. Her latest live recording, "Just Kiesha" – Live in Atlanta, is a testament to her journey of faith, reinvention, and passion for inspiring others through song as showcased in her single “Re-Invent Me”.
Whether delivering a stirring ballad, an electrifying pop anthem, or a laid-back groove Just Kiesha C’s ability to engage and connect with her audience transforms every show into a shared celebration of joy and music.
