What to expect
I want my audience to have fun and listen to a combination of 80s hits and new, retro-style songs. I bring energy to my shows and give a solid vocal-diva performance. I'm a pro so I show up early and try to make it as easy as possible for event planners to consistently rely on my performances.
About
I'm a music artist in Brooklyn, NY. I went to college in Egypt, where I studied archaeology and theatre. It was there I discovered a love of retro nightclubs and synth pop music, but I had been making music and performing since I was 14.
I play synths, guitar, trumpet, and piano. I have a 3 octave vocal range and I always bring it.

Influences and inspiration
The thoughtful, heart-wrenching lyrical style of Joni Mitchell 60s/70s;
the pure 80s pop synths of Madonna;
the power ballads of 70s/80s Cher and Tina Turner;
the early 90s haunting of Twin Peaks;
the bass and raw sound of dubstep;
the speed of house;
even the brass melodies of 1920s jazz.
I'm influenced by everything that moves me, though I stay true to my own style, a unique sound in 2018.

Small Table
PA system with channels for vocal microphone, 1/4" or 1/8" line-in for backing tracks, and 1/4" or 1/8" for an electronic instrument/guitar (3 channels total).
Vocal microphone and mic stand. *NOTE: I can bring these but please specify if you have microphones and stands on-site.
