With a B.A. in Music Performance and roots in R&B, Neo Soul, and Jazz, I believe in the power of a good groove and heartfelt notes. Inspired by greats like Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild, I bring love and energy to every performance, whether small and intimate or vibing with a crowd onstage.
As a singer/songwriter/performer, my mission is to help people feel celebrated and seen. Singing is about reclaiming joy, honoring identity, and enhancing every moment!

Justin "JJ" Steele originally is a singer/songwriter/pianist from Queens, NY. With a love for R&B/Jazz and Soul, he loves to bring back the feel of the "old good R&B and Jazz" music. Artists such as Justin Timberlake, Musiq Soulchild, Michael Jackson, and Jill Scott; feel that it's time for the old generation to be re-recognized and brought back.
With a BA in Music Performance from Five Towns College, Justin grew the biggest love for the stage and plans on inspiring and teaching others to grow a love just as big as his.
Some of his backgrounds include Jazz Shows, Musical Theater shows and even small showcases around the NYC area. He has performed at a tribute for Jazz artist Arthur Prysock and other Great American Songbook shows. Some of his theater credits include Memphis (Bobby), Dreamgirls (Tiny Joe Dixon) and The Wiz (Tinman).
Currently, Justin has released a new EP last November titled "My Artistic Life" and is in the work of a new project.
