I can play really well, just not professionally(since im still a teen). I can put on a good preformance, and have no problem dressing up the way that fits the occasion
I grew up in Austin all my life (yah! Austin rules!) and ive never left. I started asking my mom about 4yrs old for a violin, i guess the obsession started because, when i was 2, i had a baby sitter that played the violin AMAZINGLY and as a baby i would just stare at her with such amaze. After, thats when i started asking for a violin at 4. I finally got one when i was 8, and have been playing since, and never stopped. I am 13 now, and i passionately love my violin.
Ive had private violin lessons since i started, and have been in orchestra since i was 11. I was in the Austin Youth Orchestra (A.Y.O) for 3yrs, then i quit because i never felt challenged enough, after A.Y.O i finally started public school, after being in private school all my life. There, i was in the top orchestra and never went below the 3rd chair. This year i was 1st chair all semester, and i just got bumped to 2nd because i messed up at the very END ( very frustrating).
I have tried out for all Region orchestra twice and made it in both times. My first time i made 1st chair second violin in the Philharmonic orchestra, then i made 12th chair second violin in the symphony orchestra. I havent had a teacher in the past almost 4 months, so i had to do regionals by myself.
I look up to all professional musicians, because it is a VERY competitive career. I think my idol would be Sarah Chang( most amazing violinist ever!) I visited her once at the Austin Long Center, and was astonished by her playing ability, and her emotion in her playing. I want to major in my violin through college, and someday become the amazing player Sarah Chang is.
stand, unless you dont mind the purple one i have
