Julia Rossi - Violin Soloist

I would like to receive notice of booking at least 6 weeks before desired date. If it is a last minute booking (2 weeks out) there will be a up charge for the service. My prices are indicated by the following examples, how far away the gig is, how much music I need to prep (length of service), piece selections, personal pieces, and whether or not you would like a group or soloist. I prefer to met in person or on the phone about the above selections to make your event seamless and beautiful. I offer the highest level performance standards and flexibility in pricing and music selections.

Julia Rossi started violin at the early age of 6. Since then, Julia has travelled the US to pursue knowledge and experience. Julia kick started her professional career by attending the Governors School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville, South Carolina early admissions program in 2014 under the tutelage of Professor Jennifer John. Julia was introduced to gigs, professional concerts, and even traveling abroad to Europe.

Julia’s undergraduate degree was completed under the tutelage of Professor Hal Grossman. Throughout her undergrad, Julia followed Mr. Grossman from the University of Oklahoma to The University of Louisville, and finally earned her degree at The University of Oregon in 2020. Throughout her years traveling the US, she was able to earn top prizes in competitions, (Ladies Music Club Winner 2018), earn awards from the schools she attended (University of Oklahoma Frieda Derdeyn Bambas String Endowed Scholarship 2017, University of Oregon, String Area’s Outstanding Undergraduate Performers Award 2020), and performed in many symphony, chamber, and solo concerts, as well as many gigs including weddings, funerals, other gatherings, and recordings on the album Catfish by Owoso.

Julia is earned her masters degree in Violin Performance with an emphasis in String Pedagogy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin under the tutelage of Professor Darcy Drexler.

Julia currently lives in Columbia South Carolina and runs her own private studio, JRC Studios.

Requirements for my performance include, a space in the room or at the alter where I can visibly see, a covered area or tent if the event is outside, and a chair. I provide my own stand, music, instrument, and amplifier if so desired.
