I found Julia to be very professional . I booked her almost a year in advance and she reached out to me several times asking for any special requests that we wanted to play at my daughter’s wedding. She had a vast majority of classic songs from many genres to choose from.
My guests were enchanted by her music from their entrance to the ceremony and on until the cocktail hour was over.
I found Julia to be very reasonable compared to other artists . I felt like I already knew her from watching her YouTube channel.

Julia Mills began playing the violin at the age of four and has since gone on to have a successful career as an event violinist. From classical pieces to hip-hop covers, she has performed at birthdays, anniversaries, religious services, and weddings.
In 2014, she was hired as a guest musician by the Columbus Indiana Orchestra for the duration of their fall season, and her first solo gigs were in her home state of New Jersey later that year. She studied at Oberlin College and Conservatory for her undergraduate degree.
Throughout the past decade, she has grown her business as an event violinist across the country. In 2023, she completed her M.A. in Music, Science, and Technology at Stanford University. Now back on the east coast, she looks forward to continuing to perform in the greater NYC area.
Unless the gig is in a very large outdoor or indoor space, I do not need any amplification to play solo or with a pianist. If playing with a DJ or larger wedding band, I can use a wireless mic that attaches to my violin and connects to all typical DJ/amp set-ups.
I do not have vendor insurance - if your venue requires it, please let me know before booking so I can make the necessary arrangements.
