A high energy, all song request, interactive show. Julia plays both solo shows and dueling piano shows. Each of her shows highlight cover songs from all genres and decades but she might even surprise you with an original song or two. This is show you do not want to miss out on booking!

Boston native, Julia Chisholm, is a singer, songwriter, and self-taught musician. Performing from a young age Julia developed her unique artistry through listening to strong female vocalists from Aretha Franklin, to Mariah Carey, to Adele. Julia picked up her first instrument -- the violin -- at age 8, and later taught herself piano, drums, bass, and guitar -- but the voice soon became her favorite instrument.

In 2016, Julia embarked on an exciting opportunity performing with Carnival Cruise Line where she was able to truly develop as a singer and performer. She worked on the ship for two years, performing nightly for hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. After her stint on the cruise line, she went on to work at various piano bars, which provided her with not only performance skills but also the funds needed to begin recording her own music and building her repertoire. Julia is preparing plenty of content to release her first EP in 2021.

Julia continues to perform all around New England, playing all your favorite songs, as well as her much awaited originals. What makes Julia so uniquely talented is the fact that she not only sings and writes top-line lyric melody, she can also come up with the bottom line given her extensive background as a musician. Despite her enormous talent, Julia believes in creating her art without hype or much chatter -- those around her describe her as being ultra focused on her craft, unafraid to roll up her sleeves, and very serious about her musical career as she has invested in herself for years.

If you ask Julia what type of art she is looking to create, she will tell you that while she wants people to know her story, what’s most important is that people can emotionally connect with the things she writes and sings about. “As an artist, you want to express yourself through music -- but you also want the people to feel a sense of community and unity.”
