Juggling Extraordinaire

You need someone to dash around and create excitement, magic, and a sense of whimsy? Perfect! On foot or my electric unicycle, I zoom around till I find a good crowd to juggle for. Got a party to impress? Don't be in distress! I can entertain for up to 30 minutes for a show, or multiple hours of roaming, with lots of interesting props to choose from. Want to turn up the heat? Fire juggling upon request!

For groups of children, I usually bring small balls for them to throw around and learn to juggle with. For adults, we can do real lessons and get the crowd juggling! Just want to sit back and watch? No problem, I can juggle for days and have endless tricks and combos that will delight your eyes and brain. I'm twitchy by nature, so I like to move around, dance with people, strike up conversations, and love engaging with folks. Their good time is my good time, so I want to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

Melanie got bored and found juggling in 2006, and hasn't stopped since. After her dad showed her the basics, she quickly took on the practice of juggling at the park as a form of meditation, exercise, and relaxation. After 10 years of juggling alone, she found other jugglers over the internet, started attending conventions, and eventually began teaching workshops for her peers.

After enough years of people telling her she should perform, Melanie started taking gigs for the public. She fell in love with sharing juggling and showing that the possibilities of object manipulation are endless (and endlessly fun to discover). Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she always goes hard at gigs and performances, giving it her all.

Melanie is a go-to for local entertainment companies around Arizona with ANY juggling needs. She has done numerous corporate dinners, city events, community festivals, and private parties. It can be indoors, outdoors, crowded, or intimate settings. She worked as a coach for Phoenix Youth Circus Arts, and she is still active in this organization, helping to teach children this life-long skill. She is currently the resident juggling teacher at AeroTerra Arts Aerial Silks Studio in Tempe, AZ (Thursdays at 7pm).

After moving back to Arizona, she created a routine with legendary juggler Marvin Ong and they took the show on the road, performing at events such as European Juggling Convention 2024, International Juggler's Association Convention 2024, Burning Man, Gem and Jam 2026, and juggling/flow festivals such as Flowstorm (TX), Portland Juggling Festival, Bellingham Juggling Festival, Game of Throws (CA), Club Congress (CA), Kindle (OR), Southwest Flow Fest (AZ), June Jam (AZ), The Flow Show (CA), and Firedrums (CA).
