Overview
JudsonMain is a Chicago-area classic rock quartet fronted by a powerhouse female vocalist, delivering a set list that spans the Beatles through R.E.M. and everything in between. The band traces its roots to April 2020, when two friends began playing music together in a parking lot at the corner of Judson and Main, drawing neighbors out each Sunday during a difficult time for the community. That grassroots spirit has carried through as the lineup has grown into a full four-piece band. Rather than relying on the most obvious hits, JudsonMain curates songs from the '60s - 2000s that audiences don't often hear from other cover acts, paired with the band's own distinctive interpretations.

What to expect
Our set list ranges from beatles to REM and everything in between. We focus on artists that we grew up listening to, and try to find songs that you don't hear other cover bands play.
Judsonmain's strength is not only the variety of artists and songs we cover but our interpretation of that song. Everyone in the band sings, but having a strong female lead singer really set our sound apart from your average cover band.
You will leave one of our shows humming a few of the tunes we have played and surprise by the big sound we make.
About
Scott Fishman - Percussion/Vocals
Scott is life long Chicagoan and musician who has played in a variety of musical groups from symphonies to rock, blues and folk. Scott started playing drums at age 10 and then got his 1st kit (which he still owns) a few years later. His focus on the interaction & dynamics with his bandmates is what makes his style unique.
Randy Fini – Bass Guitar/Vocals
Randy is a Chicago native, who started out on guitar, moved to the drums, and found his calling with bass guitar, while taking over the rec-room of the family home, with his musician brothers. Randy has played in several Rock bands over the years in addition to JudsonMain, including several jams here in the city for fun and connection to friends.
Jennifer Barron Fishman - Vocals
Jenny Barron Fishman has been singing since childhood. She grew up singing along to the radio with her music loving mama and 4 siblings, and performed in school choirs and musicals. It was at the Charleston Pub in the Bucktown neighborhood in the early 90’s where she met and began singing with a few friends, and they formed the folk and bluegrass band, Fallen Angels. They performed in the Chicago area for over 20 years, playing regularly at The Hideout, Fitzgerald’s, The California Clipper, and The Charleston, as well as many summer music festivals.
Datu Ramal - Guitar/Vocal
Datu watched a quartet perform on the Ed Sullivan show and he took up the guitar. At university he sang at parties and produced a folk-jazz music showcase. He came out of the pandemic even more committed to connect with live audiences in cozy settings. Datu enjoys the challenge of interpreting familiar songs with a smaller or altered lineup of musicians.
Frank Kozak - Guitar
Frank is a Chicago native who developed a passion for guitar as a teenager playing in local garage bands and attending concerts where he was inspired by Hendrix, the Yardbirds, Cream, Zappa, Segovia, Wes Montgomery, and many others. Frank enjoys playing various genres of music including rock, jazz, blues, big band, bluegrass, and even classical. Frank has performed with various local ensembles, rock bands, big bands, and even as a solo performer.
