Overview
Joy Parkman is a Singer / Songwriter who through the years has heard "you sound just like Karen Carpenter". Many times through the years Joy has brought people to tears because of the memories of Karen were brought back when hearing Joy sing. Over the past few years, Joy has begin to write more worship songs and ministers as a prophetic psalmist. Her desire is to see people realize who they are, why they are here and how much God loves them. She does this through the songs she sings, whether through singing Karen or the songs she writes.

Joy performed an absolutely wonderful show for our Del Webb community. We had 180 in attendance for the almost 3 hour show-did not want it to end. Joy does an astounding Karen Carpenter tribute and the Variety show was very entertaining. A great evening!
