His soulful cello and live-looping performances blend classical technique with R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, and contemporary music, creating an elegant and distinctive atmosphere for ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinners, and private events.
Performances can be acoustic or amplified and tailored to your event, with special song requests available in advance. Jordan can also organize a string ensemble or customized group to complement your occasion. Based in Detroit and available throughout Michigan, the Midwest, Canada, and beyond.

October 10, 2017Jordan was easy to communicate with. We had a very small wedding and he was on time and played beautifully. All of our guests commented on how he made a wonderful touch. He can play beatles, wind earth and fire, and of course traditional classical. He is very talented and I would highly recommend him for any special occasion!

He even offered to learn specific songs for the event. He was on time, professional and very talented. His performance was enjoyed by all. July 9, 2017Jordan arrived on time and did a fantastic job playing cello at our wedding ceremony. He entertained the guests with pieces that he chose before the ceremony started, and learned a piece that we requested for "walking down the aisle". His timing between songs worked perfectly, pausing at the right moments for emotional effect. Highly recommend.

May 14, 2017Jordan takes what has come and pushes it into new artistic territory. He's clearly not content to perfect others' work. Nor is he content with using instruments conventionally. Jordan brilliantly combines classical, pop, r&b, rap, and, for all I know, country in ways that are beautiful, thought-provoking and even wry.

Clients can expect a varied musical atmosphere built around acoustic cello or electric cello, live looping, effects, and beats.
I perform but not limited to music influenced by R&B, soul, hip-hop, jazz, pop, and original music, and can tailor the performance for anything from background atmosphere to a featured set.
I can provide sound for many events, and can also arrange a duo, trio, string ensemble, or custom group when a larger sound is desired.
