I provide background music of the highest quality in an improvisatory romantic jazz genre. I have played numerous wedding parties, dinner parties, corporate events, and private functions. I never prepare music, I simply show up and play. While on one hand this means that I probably will not be able to provide you with specific pieces or requests, it does mean I can play for hours on end and it will never be irritating or repetitive because the music is constantly and fluidly changing.

Jonathan provides mood setting improvisatory piano music (typically of a light jazz/classical persuasion) for corporate events, private dinner parties, and everything in-between.
Jonathan Hodges is a Dallas based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and teacher. An accomplished violinist, Jonathan is a graduate of SMU holding a BM in Violin Performance.
It is preferable that the venue already have a piano.
In the event that you do not have a piano, I own a good keyboard that I have used for some gigs, but it is large and difficult to transport. I will have to charge you more for transportation and setup if I am bringing my own instrument — so always make absolutely certain that you cannot provide the piano at the venue. Aside from the instrument itself, I require very little.
