Dave Asher – Improvised Piano for Events

My positive review of Dave begins with his communication. Dave reached out to me early in the process before I formally selected him for the event. I appreciate when someone takes the initiative, and he did so without hesitation. The music samples Dave sent were great, and combined with his initiative and very reasonable fee, I felt comfortable selecting him. Dave continued to meet (and exceed) my expectations by communicating with me before the event to ensure everything was in order. As the event was a surprise party for my wife, I was not able to be at the event when Dave arrived to setup. My family members who were present before me spoke highly of Dave. Throughout the party, Dave's music set the perfect tone. It was like having a live soundtrack that meshed perfectly with the mood of the crowd and the point in time of the event. I will definitely request Dave for future events, and I cannot recommend him enough for your event!

We hired Dave to play piano for at my 60th birthday, and he was fantastic. From the moment guests arrived, the music set exactly the right tone — relaxed and welcoming, with a warmth that filled the room. Dave read the crowd beautifully and kept everyone smiling throughout.

He closed out his hour by leading the whole room in “Happy Birthday,” which was the perfect way to cap off the celebration — everyone singing together, a moment I won’t forget.

If you want live piano that genuinely elevates an event, Dave is your guy. Thank you, Dave, for helping make a milestone birthday unforgettable!

David did a superb job! I would certainly hire him again. He added so much to the party, and everyone loved having him there.

Dave is a great talented performer and musician. When he MD'd for our show it really felt like he was supporting our team. He worked with us to find our voice and supported us throughout the show. I would highly recommend Dave for your gigs.

Dave was SO much fun!! His style is completely unique and very surprising. He even went to far as to come up with a melody and chorus for my dog which he then allowed our guests to come up with the versus spontaneously. A really fun evening! Will definitely hire him again for a future in-home event.
