March 21, 2024Hired him for a private event. He went above and beyond setting up the sound system and troubleshooting any problems we had as it was an outdoor gig. He sounds better than Ed Sheeran and everyone was complimenting how good the entertainment was all night. It was a party to remember! 10/10 would hire him again!

LIVE MUSIC:
SOLO ACT:
My solo act consists of myself, a mic, an acoustic guitar, a pedal platform, and a looping station. I use my looper and guitar FX processor to create full production sounds live on the stage. Where many people think I am using pre-recorded tracks, I am in fact creating every sound live in front of you, in real time. I create guitar sounds, bass sounds, organ sounds, drum sounds (through beatboxing or guitar drumming), and of course I allow my lead vocals to shine through along with my experienced lead guitar playing.
SUBSTITUTE MUSICIAN:
If you have a band who requires a fill-in musician, I offer guitar, bass guitar, and vocal services. All you have to do is send me a setlist, and I will show up with the songs ready to go. I have provided this service for many bands across Ontario, and have had outstanding reviews every time, despite sometimes not even having a rehearsal with the band.
SOUND TECHNITIAN:
For venues and/or event organizers who are looking to attain pro-level sound for their next event, I offer services as an audio engineer. I can provide a full PA, Backline, pro mixing console, mics, DI boxes, and whatever else the event might call for. I personally take care of the setup and mixing of the event.
Should the size of the event call for it, I have people on my team who will also work as stage hands.
I able to provide Lights, however the use of DMX control is not in my list of experienced skills. Lights are "set and forget"

Jon Wyatt is a multitalented professional in the music industry.
He has played for countless bands, and performed solo shows all around Ontario.
Jon Wyatt has a diploma in Sound Engineering/Music Production from Canadore College.
In addition to playing guitar, bass, and singing for local bands, he also is an active sound technician, and has worked as a freelancer and a contractor for production companies.
He has done sound engineering for Caribana Ignite 2024, Engineered recording with Cory Marks, opened for Trooper with a band in 2023, and has been the stage manager for various groups including Crown Lands, while working as a contractor. The list continues to grow extensively.
