Jon's solo performances will hit you right in the chest with very real and heartfelt tunes expertly performed. His trio will do the same while also hitting with the one-two punch of great tunes (originals and classics) followed by blazing hot guitarwork. His shows run the gamut from americana/old school country, blues, rock, jazz and folk tunes.
A veteran of his profession, having first cut his teeth on the Quebec music scene, later bringing his talents overseas from Australia and the South Pacific all the way to the Mediterranean, Jon MacAulay has most recently landed in Western Canada to ply his trade. Jon now has two albums and an additional single released under his name and has opened for the likes of Patrick Norman, Dan Davidson, Brett Kissel, Doc Walker and more. From ballads to barroom bangers, Jon’s is a show you won’t want to miss!
