What to expect
From your first inquiry to the final song, every detail is approached with professionalism, clear communication, and genuine hospitality. My goal is simple: to create a refined musical experience that complements your event and allows you to enjoy the moment with complete confidence.
Every performance is tailored to your venue, timeline, and vision. Whether you're planning an elegant wedding ceremony, a corporate reception, a private celebration, a client appreciation event, or an evening of live entertainment, the music is thoughtfully selected to match the atmosphere you want your guests to experience.
Performing behind my iconic white baby grand piano, I offer elegant piano instrumentals, engaging piano and vocals, or a tasteful blend of both. My repertoire spans jazz standards, smooth jazz, yacht rock, classic pop, Motown, country, Latin favorites, and contemporary classics, allowing each event to feel personal rather than scripted.
Clients can expect a polished presentation, professional sound equipment when needed, punctual arrival, and close attention to every detail before, during, and after the event. I believe live music should enhance the experience, encourage conversation, and create memorable moments without ever overwhelming the occasion.
Whether guests are listening closely, celebrating on the dance floor, or simply enjoying great food and conversation, every performance is designed to elevate the atmosphere and leave a lasting impression.

Additional booking notes
To ensure a seamless experience, I recommend a performance area of approximately 6 ft. x 8 ft. to comfortably accommodate my iconic white baby grand piano and sound equipment. Smaller spaces can often be accommodated with advance notice.
For most events, I provide professional sound reinforcement suitable for ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, and similar venues. A wireless microphone is available for announcements, toasts, or officiants when requested.
Access to a standard 120V electrical outlet within a reasonable distance of the performance area is appreciated. Indoor events are preferred, though covered outdoor performances are welcome when the piano and equipment are protected from direct sun, rain, excessive wind, and extreme temperatures.
Setup typically requires 60–90 minutes, with approximately 30–45 minutes for breakdown, depending on venue access and event logistics. Please advise of stairs, elevators, loading restrictions, or long walking distances in advance so adequate setup time can be planned.
For wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and other milestone events, I am happy to coordinate with your planner, venue, photographer, DJ, or other vendors to help ensure a smooth timeline and polished presentation.
Song requests, special selections, and customized playlists are welcomed whenever possible and should be discussed during the planning process.

Influences and inspiration
My musical influences span jazz, pop, R&B, Latin, and singer-songwriter traditions. As a pianist and vocalist, I've been inspired by artists such as Billy Joel, Elton John, Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Herbie Handcock, Oscar Peterson, Sergio Mendes, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Toto, Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, and James Taylor. My years as a Music Director for a salsa orchestra also drew inspiration from Latin legends including Tito Puente, Grand Combo, and Eddie Palmieri. Together, these influences have shaped a performance style that is polished, versatile, and focused on creating the right atmosphere for every event.
My earliest musical influence was my grandfather, Beto Garcia, founder of the Texas Jazz Festival, whose passion for jazz and live performance helped shape my lifelong love of music.
