May 14, 2013I hired this band for a birthday party and wasn't disappointed. It was a last minute party and these guys were willing to help me out in a squeeze. I wanted to surprise my wife with a song and they were able to learn and play it in less than a week! I highly recommend this band.

They are great musicians, really understand sound dynamics (another words they won't blow your ears off) and they make the night fun. I think they are a great addittion to any venue that books music. They are good!!!!

May 3, 2013I hired these guys for my wife's 30th birthday party. We had booked a small room and had concerns about volume and space issues. We were pleasantly surprised to find the band had a small footprint and were also very quiet! I talked to Brian about this and he said they'd been playing for years and had only set up part of the sound gear because they too had space and volume in mind due to the room size! Incredibly professional and on top of that, they had a great song selection plus they rocked!!

JOHNNY ROCK is Brian, Rich, Paula, and Jason. We recognize what it takes to make a night successful for the audience and your venue. We understand the importance of promoting your venue, wait staff, food, drinks and engaging the audience to participate in the show. And most importantly, how to have a good time!
Johnny Rock has performed at numerous venues throughout Indianapolis. In the early 00s we hosted “Thursday night throw-downs” at World Mardi Gras entertainment complex, held down the Tuesday night house band spot at CT Pepper’s in Broad Ripple while playing hundreds of shows in the meantime. With that schedule, Johnny Rock managed to build a core following of fans and make numerous good and loyal friends along the way, all while greatly expanding our social media and e-mail list.
After a hiatus, Johnny Rock is back and even better with the addition of lead vocalist Paula Goodwin. Adding Paula has allowed us to greatly expand an already large repertoire of great songs. Because our play list spans the 60s thru today and covers many genres, there’s virtually no request we can’t accommodate.
Our production set-up (PA and lights) is owned and operated by Brian Baker which means you’ll always get an outstanding mix whether your preference is loud enough to shake tables or quiet enough to talk over. There will never be volume issues with us. The PA is also versatile enough to split in half for use at smaller and/or quieter shows which makes us perfect for private parties and corporate events, you won’t be disappointed!
