You can expect a very personable, experienced, and entertaining musician/personality. I can play up the crowd to get them hyped up, or can blend into the background and provide a very chill experience. I'm very professional, own my own PA system, and people say I am very entertaining!

Hello! My name is John Read and I'm a solo artist from Louisville, KY. I specialize in multi-hour cover sets playing the hits from the 60's to today. My main instrument is the guitar, but I also throw in some banjo and piano to add some depth to my performance. I own my own PA and can travel to your event.

My set includes songs from Lynyrd Skynyrd, to Foo Fighters, to Ray Charles and everything in between. My set times are generally between 1-3 hours, but I can pull out a 4 hour set if you need me to! I'm very energetic, and can play to the crowd very well, I've been told I'm a very entertaining person.

I've been playing in bands and entertaining crowds for twenty years, I'm very professional and always on time. I've got the ability to improvise easily if necessary, and you won't be disappointed if you hire me for your event. I can also just MC your event if you need someone for that position as well!
