John Kuypers speaks on "The Agony and Ecstasy of Christian Leadership."
He helps audiences understand how suffering leads to joy when we let God fully take control of difficult situations. His themes are deeply personal, provocative and counter-intuitively liberating.
John is a leadership coach and author of five books. He is the founder of Kuypers Leadership, specializing in coaching, consulting and training. He has been speaking professionally for fifteen+ years. John is a former corporate vice-president.
His most popular books are First Rule of Inner Peace, What's Important Now and The Non-Judgmental Christian. He also blogs at his namesake website.

What to Expect
Expect to see good interaction with your audience and a wide range of responses from light bulb moments to some perplexity. This teaching is counter-intuitive and is much more than mere entertainment or a reminder of the obvious.
Your audience will be invited to adopt Matthew 7:5 as a regular Christian practice - to "first get neutral" before responding to any sensitive issue with others.
The practicality of this teaching is unsurpassed for anyone who wants to change how others respond to them as a spouse, parent or leader. This is the real deal about important life situations. Audiences see how our normal responses aggravate things...UNTIL we remove the plank. Then we see Jesus' counter-intuitive way to get issues resolved by seeking peace first, results second.
My speaking topic is Leadership. My topic centers around a counter-intuitive scriptural verse - Matthew 7:5 - about removing the plank from your eye to see clearly what to do in difficult situations. Audiences find hope that difficult troubles with others can be resolved even in long-standing struggles.
I am a former corporate vice-president of sales who blacked out on the family room floor at age 34 due to stress. It was a wake-up call that led me to end my corporate career within five years and begin a 20 year spiritual journey.
Along the way, I wrote 5 books about my journey. I share my lessons learned with others seeking to "the peace that surpasses all understanding" found in Jesus Christ. My experiences involve marriage, divorce, workplace leadership and family of origin issues. I am a leadership coach and strategy/organizational change expert at Kuypers Leadership.
I live in southern Ontario Canada and will travel anywhere.
