Sometimes known as "The Mouth of Mayberry" John first did stand-up comedy in a school talent show when he was only eight years old and he has been making people laugh ever since. Along the way he has worked with about every comedian from legends such as Milton Berle, Tommy Chong and Soupy Sales to current stars such as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Jamie Foxx.
He has also opened for numerous music acts including Michael Bolton, Frankie Valli, Herman's Hermits, Chubby Checker and Martina McBride.
