Performed from the age of 13 years old, with 45 years of experience.
I went on to win a music scholarship. I can solo, with professional backtracks, or fill in any ensemble, Blues, Jazz, R&B ... with all types of Brazz, Soprano Sax, Alto, Tenor, Baritone ... I perform with them all. I'm on most media's and I speak English , French and Italiano. Je parle le Francais, Italien, et Anglais.

Joey really inspired me to push off my music career, even though on the phone he was kind of sketch, was still one of the best musicians known to man kind!!!! Would hire him any day of the week!

Joey has such a knowledge of music, helps me along with my performances, and he is a real pro, in every aspect. His playing and performing is awesome, he blows a mean sax, and I've seen him play all of them...amazing! He engages the crowd when he goes through the audience as he plays, and he certainly can rip it with the best of them, and serenade with the rest of them...

About
The desire to play the saxophone was stronger than I was before my teens. I had older friends who in one shape or another were musical. Music was integrated into my life at a young age, it was stronger than I was, great ... right! My first music teacher, before my teens left the greatest impression on me. He was a graduate of Royal Conservatory of Music back in the 40's, and he imparted to me such an appreciation for music. I was strong in theory at a young age, and my marks at school reflected that.
Vern was a master at his craft, and he will be remembered.
I won a scholarship in music upon graduation,
and continue to love playing and performing.
I've performed in many performances, from 32 piece bands as well as wedding bands. I'm on most social media and have a good repertoire.
I continue to perform with Lorraine Klaasen/Thandie Klaasen and other bands who need my services. I specialize as a solo and duo artist and I can sooth the soul or get the feet moving,
