Joey and The Paradons

When I arrived and looked at the stage devoid of band artifacts, I was disappointed. But Then Joey let loose with the Velvet's Tonight Could Be The Night, and I knew I was off on a happy night. This group has that oldies/do-wop sound down pat. I especially loved the femail singer Ro, who hit all the right notes and brought back the women of the 60's. And you won't believe the pipes on the 84 year old JR who still has it and then some. The entertainment value was top notch, even without a band. Their harmony was smooth. The audience definitely wanted more. They absolutely brought back the glory of the 60's in New York City. I love these guys.
