What to expect

For solo shows, I would bring my speaker and microphone, engage with the audience, and talk a little in between. I’d even ask for song requests. There would be a mix of upbeat dance songs and ballads but the setlist would be tailored for the crowd.

For band gigs, we’d be 7 members—two lead female vocalists, one male vocalist, bass guitar, lead guitar, drums, and keyboard. We’d sing the hits and one-hit wonders of the 40’s to today. We have an engaging lead male singer who is very interactive with the crowd, a stagehand who produces quality video, disco lights and fog machine, and fun outfits.

About

Music has been part of my life since childhood. My father wrote original songs for my sisters and me growing up, with my mom joining in on tambourine. As a family, we recorded an album of original children’s music, donating part of the proceeds to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, local children’s hospitals, and cancer research — one of our songs, promoting peace and anti-violence, even got radio airplay. We performed our originals at SunFest, South Florida’s music festival, three times, with features on local news and radio along the way.

One of my most treasured memories: at age 7, I was selected with my sister to perform a duet for Broadway legend Marvin Hamlisch at a charity event he supported. Afterward, he hugged and thanked us — this celebrated songwriter, taking the time to recognize two kids. I’ve carried that with me ever since.

Over the years, my sisters and I have sung for Major League Baseball three times, and performed for General Colin Powell, a former Miss America, and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce. We’ve entertained for charities including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, and America’s Promise.

Today, I perform as a solo vocalist, with a party band covering hits from the 40s to today, and with a Heart tribute band honoring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends. I also perform standards with my father on piano, and I write and record my own original pop music. In New York, I’ve sat in with jazz bands and been a regular at Sid Gold’s Request Room, singing with live piano accompaniment. In Florida, I sing regularly at retirement communities and assisted living facilities, often with my father accompanying me or my sister joining on duets.

My repertoire spans Oldies, Motown, Broadway classics, pop ballads, jazz standards, and disco — Barbra Streisand, the Carpenters, Carole King, Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, ABBA, Olivia Newton-John, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Blondie, and Heart, among many others.

I’ve trained with Max Lawrence of the Don and Max Lawrence Vocal Studio (Lady Gaga’s vocal coach), Lis Lewis (vocal coach for Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Miguel, Colbie Caillat, Gwen Stefani, and Rihanna), actress and singer Nora Palka, and voice faculty from the University of Miami and FIU.

I’m classy, professional, friendly, and flexible — happy to discuss booking any combination of solo, band, or duo performances for your event.
